Don’t you just love being a part of something that has the ability to change someone’s world?
I do. Remember my month long New Year’s SO KIND resolution challenge in January, called the ReSOlution of KINDness? That was really fun and an eye opener about how kindness can affect many people even when we don’t realize it.
Today I stumbled onto another kindness challenge and I decided to join in. I thought it’d be great to pass it along to you because she said you don’t have to be a blogger to participate, anyone is welcome.
I love that. Kindness is everywhere.
What I love about her challenge is that the first week is centered around being kind to ourselves. That is something that seems to get forgotten in the hurry of daily lives. It’s like that quilt at the back of the laundry room that never gets washed because the piles in front of it get too big and are always washed first.
I also love how the weeks are divided into do-able categories. That’s very well thought out.
If it’s in your heart, I hope you’ll join in. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to be mindful about sharing kindness and just want you to know that you are more than welcome to join in!
I’m soooooo glad you’re doing this as well. xo

Thank you. What are you and I doing for mindfulness?

Not sure Jess, some days I feel so motivated, other days I fall in a slump. Wish you lived closer, like next door! :)

Oh my gosh, me too! I have an idea. How about every day in May we step outside, spread our arms wide and do a senses check. (Just to ourselves.)

So today could be: I hear the wind. I see the palm tree blowing. I smell the salty air. I taste the apple I ate 20 minutes ago. I feel my shirt blowing in the breeze.
It’s an exercise I learned during infertility and it helps you be in the moment. It works! 💜

I love this. And I just did it. Outside on my decking.
I see the clouds rolling by. I hear the birds in the trees. I feel the coolness of the breeze. I taste the salt from a cracker I just ate. I smell the eucalypt from the gum trees.
Thanks Jessica. What a wonderful exercise. I’ll definitely do that again. xo
