I love creeks and the sound of flowing water. Most of our creeks aren’t clear with rock bottoms like yours. We have chocolate water.
Have a wonderful day!!
Aw! Thank you. It’s on a road we’ve driven on hundreds of times. Only recently have I gotten out and climbed down on the rocks. Now I can’t stay off them- ha! Such a glorious place. :)
Ice or snow? I’ll pass on the ice! Ha! Snow I’ll take. We didn’t get much last year. Hoping we get to break out the sled!! This year I’m getting a snowboard.
Hi. Thank you very much. It was a beautiful day to be out. I think I took like 4 videos of the water flowing. It sounded so nice. Almost like a faucet.
Oh, I bet that’s sooo nice. Is it one of those rich chocolate brown colors from all the glorious dark soil up your way? My folks are on the Iowa/ NE/ MO line and the soil is black and no rocks. The Missouri River is nearby and is chocolate-y brown.
when it rains hard it is chocolately brown. When we are in a dry period it is clear enough to see the fish swim by. It is usually shallow enough to wade across…other than the holes here and there.
No wonder you love it. It looks so pretty and peaceful. 🌿

It is. It’s not much to look at from the truck. The trick is to get out and embrace it’s space. ❤️

Yes. He’s there. He left the 10th. Hard week for this mama.

Love that chocolate water, too! The sign of great dirt!! We have clear water, but can’t grow much! You have all those beautiful wheat fields❤️❤️❤️

We certainly do have beautiful wheat fields. They are such a pretty lush green this time of year!!

running water is beautiful. I love to sit and watch the Little Rock flow past our place in the summer.
