I bet you’re right- many moons ago I think that town had a lot more people than it sees now. Most of the buildings are empty, the houses run down. I can just imagine ladies with hoop skirts and parasols sitting for a spell, waiting for a wagon ride or train! 😊
That’s a great question! I’ll see if I can find out. We went to a neighboring town yesterday and saw this lovely red building. Those seats are so worn, surely they’ve been used many times.
