Those bricks, with hard-earned dust particles proudly displayed, even there, we see the pristine. :)

Jessica, the white is just perfect for buildings like this! Slightly distressed but fresh at the same time…old timely feel.

Boy, I bet that is really pretty. Such a great color for every season, too. :)

Beautiful photos Jessica. Have you ever tried to match a paint sample to white? So many colors of white. (I miss my “white” cabinets in my kitchen.)

I haven’t yet, but it may be in my future as we get this house ready to sell. Ha. I’ve got some window sills that need touched up. Mom and dad just painted all their kitchen cabinets white and put in a granite counter. They also painted all the walls white. It is gorgeous. Makes me want to do the same! There’s something a bit old fashioned about white. 😊💜

Thank you. I love that first picture. There are double doors on that porch. Like an old time duplex or a sitting room/ parlor.

The old buildings are lovely. When I first saw the title of this post, I thought that it might be about interior paint colors. Many of the rooms in my house are painted with antique white paint.

    • Jessica February 11, 2017 / 8:26 am

Oh my gosh, I bet your rooms are beautiful!!

      • Sheryl February 11, 2017 / 8:29 am

I tend to think of it as a practical, slightly boring, color to paint rooms – but I guess it’s pretty. :)

Easy to accessorize. My mom just painted most of her rooms white. She had an interior designer come in and that gal suggested white, so she could use colors on the accessories. At first we thought, “white????” but it turned out so nice. It’s the “in” color I guess!!
