On Facebook, there’s a challenge to share black and white pictures this week, so I thought it’d be fun to share some here, too. Here is a peek into our relaxing couple of days in the woods.
Ohhhh, these are just so lovely Jessica!
Their age, the colours in the photo (although black and white, they have other tones too), and my mind can fill in the colours which I think might be there – such a orange and brown for the rust on the chairs. Even the smooth but slightly roughness of the door with the moon cut into it.
Hi Jessica, I am doing very well. It is getting lovely and warm here in South Africa and all the flowers are in bloom. I hope you and your family are also doing well.
Come down!! We’ll build a little bonfire and chit chat a while. The cabin itself is primitive. Tin roof, tin sides. Lots of bunk beds, a porcelain kitchen sink (with no running water), and an outhouse. Door is always open if you come this way. Southern Missouri. ❤️
What fun that would be! I’ve been in Missouri a number of times, but we aren’t likely to be there any time soon. If you come to Western NC, let me know.
Great photos. Lucky you to have time in the woods.

I bet so. Up behind there, stand trees and limestone rock ledges lined with moss. Pews. ❤️

I love those chairs- many different colors and a long life of holding story tellers.

Chair definition at your place — story-telling holder. How I’d love to sit next to someone there!
