Nature has really rolled out the red carpet for us lately. Check out this sunset Little Bit and I saw on Monday. I about fell over when I noticed that beam of light going straight up! Turns out it’s called a Sun Pillar.

I never heard of a sun pillar. Yours was dramatic. I’m not likely to see one, as the sun goes over our house from right to left and never peeks at me inside.

I’d never seen one either or had even heard of it. I googled something like- light shining straight up form a sunset and saw Sun Pillar. I hope you get to see one sometime. We were on the gravel road about a half mile from home.
