Sunset at the Boat Ramp

We’re lucky. We live by a tiny town with a river that’s part of Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It’s called the Current River and is known for its clear water, movement that flows enough to carry canoes and kayaks, swimming holes, and fishing.

A couple of nights ago, my son and I went to the boat ramp in town. I was able to catch these sunset pictures. What a lovely evening it was.

It’s so wonderful to have nature close by. It fills up this photographer’s heart a million times over.

Hope you have a great evening/day!

    • Hi! Wish you could see some of these places in real life. It’s ‘make your jaw drop’ amazing. And, not in giant, flashy ways, but in subtle quiet ways. Love that. And, thank you. It was a great sunset. ❤️

    • Hi! You did? That’s really awesome. What part, if you don’t mind me asking? We spend a lot of time around Van Buren / Winona/ Eminence areas, too. We’re on the southern end of the Current River.

        • That’s so cool! We looked at moving to the Linking/ Salem area once. Some beautiful places up there. Akers and Pulltite are on my wish list. Round Spring is one of my favorite places. Plus, the wild horses! So gorgeous there. Have you been to the lodge at Echo Bluff? We’ve stayed there a few times. Super pretty there, too.
