Love the beautiful sky and bubbles. It’s funny that you were blowing bubbles and so was thejuicenut. We were blowing bubbles last weekend. Mr. Farmer was working on the fence with a neighbor and he brought his 3 kids over, so I was playing with them and we were into the driveway chalk and bubbles. They also found balloons and a slingshot. We filled up alot of balloons with water and when the guys came in from working on the fence……..there were a lots of balloons launched at them. We laughed so hard, I love creating memories with kids!
Wow! Look at all of us blowing bubbles and doing sidewalk chalk! That’s so cool!! I bet the sling shot and water balloons was a huge hit!! Well, maybe not so much with the guys! Ha! What great memories! :)
Haha great minds! We had bubbles sailing across our garden in the sun the other day, from our neighbour’s children and yesterday I tried to take photos of 2 neighbourhood kittens lying in the back yard but unfortunately they were in the only patch of shade and you can hardly see them. Gorgeous flowers. Sadly the sun has departed for a while and we have gunmetal skies and rain showers ๐
Oh my gosh, isn’t that cool? Here we are in different parts of the world, doing the same things. I bet that was a joy to see children with bubbles and kittens, too.
Wish you could see the smile on my face. :) PS Love your description of your weather. You make rain sound quite inviting. โ๏ธ๐ฆ๐จ
Hi! Thank you so much! It was such a calm, quiet afternoon and we were actually home! :) She made me laugh, too. She is quite the character. A sweet girl, for sure. Unless you’re another cat, then watch out! Ha. She loves me and Little Bit. She can’t stand our other 2 cats or any cats that even walk by!! So funny.
I love all the pictures but I really love the bubble ones.
I also wonder what the cat in the window is wondering…..We always had cats when I was a kid and they have such personalities.
Oh! I’m so glad you love the bubbles! I had quite a time trying to hold the bubble wand, blow them, and get a picture all at the same time. It was quite comical. :)
That’s a good question about what Sophie (cat) was thinking. She was in the garage window and seemed pretty interested in what I was doing. Finally, she came out and laid next to the flower pot.
I love that you had cats when you were a kid. City cats or country cats?
I am not sure which kind of cats they were. We lived on the edge of a very small rural town. In fact a gravel road ran past our place. Our backyard had a barbed wire fence that separated us from the neighbors in the backyard. I think it was a leftover from when the lots were part of a cornfield. The parents on the block left it in as each side of the block had 30+ kids on it and they figured 60 kids would just get in trouble.
Pretty much everyone had pets of some kind on our street and all the pets ran where they felt like it.
I am thinking our cats were town cats with country leanings :).
Oh my goodness. I LOVE that. You have the best stories. That sounds like a great childhood, full of kids and animals. Love the part, too, about it once being a corn field. :)
Your posts always make me smile Jess. :) So beautiful.

A couple of months ago there would have been chalk drawings on my path too when my grand-daughter was visiting ๐

I love cats! They are so cool and collected, mellow and unconcerned. We could learn a lesson from cats.

They definitely have it made, don’t they? Not too many concerns. :)
