Gratitude:
- socks
- a warm coat
- enough camera battery to get some photos
- our first snow
It usually snows here around February, so waking up to snow in November was a treat.
Hope you have a wonderful Saturday.

Crazy weather. We had our first snowstorm at the very end of October/beginning of November. Since then, it’s been cool weather only, no rain. Lovely photos.

Hi, thank you! What’s your elevation there? PS I’m mailing your letter tomorrow.

The snow just missed our house by a few miles, but yours looks so pretty!

Oh my gosh! A few miles? That’s crazy! It was really nice. The sidewalks were still wet and the roads weren’t slick, which was great. We sure need the moisture. So many burn bans have been on lately.

Yes, we drove a few miles down highway 270 to see my grandson’s basketball game (he’s four, so it was a game in name only) and I was shocked to see snow along the embankment! My daughter, who lives a few miles south of us, said they got snow. Wd got none!

Aww! He’s 4 already? Is he the one you used to post about? That’s weird about the snow. Maybe the wind was blowing the other way?!

Oh, I love snow photos (probably because we don’t get to experience it so much here in sunny South Africa 🌞). I especially like your photo of the orange berries covered in snow!

Hi! What is your weather like? I’ve never been to South Africa. Is it warm a lot? Thank you. Love the color combo of that one. The snow really accents the green and orange.

Well, let’s put it this way … we don’t see snow often and South Africa is called the sunny country for a reason 😉. Our summers are usually hot and long and winters are not that extreme. We do have snow during winter in the higher mountainous areas, but I would say we are definitely more used to sun than snow!
